"Three-in-one" or "two-in-one" factories are common. Local laws and regulations do not prohibit dormitories from being in the same building as production areas and/or warehouses.

The structure of many factories in Vietnam is like this: a large factory building with a high ceiling. The front part or a small front part, designed as two or three storeys. The rear part, the production shop and warehouse, is not layered. So the whole building structure is still a building. The front end is usually the first floor of the office area, the upper floor may be used as a dormitory.

Implementation to the audit, the auditor found this kind of "three in one" or "two in one" phenomenon, will ask to see the factory from the local government departments to obtain architectural design drawings and approval (seal), as well as permission to start. If the dormitory area clearly stated in the original architectural design drawing is included (that is, the dormitory is not built without approval after completion and acceptance, or other areas not included in the original design drawing are occupied for dormitory use), and the factory has successfully obtained the construction permit, it can be accepted. Except, of course, if the COC of some buyers expressly states that "three in one" or "two in one" is not acceptable.

As for the documents that the fire department needs to see during the audit, it can be much, in addition to the conventional fire acceptance, fire drill records, the following examples of some special documents you may not have heard:
