Regulations on child labor in Vietnam

Children under the age of 15 are considered child workers, and children between the ages of 15 and 18 are considered child workers.

Special requirements for underage workers: In addition to the similar physical examination registration system in China, the following special requirements: 

1. The daily working hours shall not exceed 7 hours, and the weekly working hours shall not exceed 42 hours (7 hours x 6 days). 

2. Night shift is strictly prohibited. 

3. Ensure 14 days of annual leave per year.

It is also forbidden to arrange excessive, toxic and harmful posts.

Note: Child labor and underage workers are very common in Vietnamese factories. Some changed the id card age through connections, and some directly borrowed the id card of relatives (elder siblings) to register in the factory. I've heard that going too far is stealing someone's ID card and replacing it with a photo of your own.

In the local audit operation, the auditor factory verification, for id card borrowing or fraud (that is, people and card inconsistent), generally identified as the enterprise has the responsibility of improper recruitment, the auditor retains the power to open the factory there are child labor problems. For those whose ID card is real but whose age is found to be inconsistent through interview (i.e. changing age through tipping to local public security), it is generally not considered as the liability of missing recruitment.
